In this report we provide basic insights from network science to understand ecosystems of contracts. Agents in ecosystems of contracts are likely to have very heterogenous bargaining power
and individual outcomes, due to a rich-gets-richer dynamics. We show that simple generative models can reproduce these key aspects of the data, suggesting that more advanced models will be able to provide detailed and empirically validated policy analysis and support in the future.
